We are very proud and honoured to be recipients for this grant and look forward to our inaugural season ahead.

Bendigo Bank Sponsor Inaugural Women

March 14, 2018

The Laverton Magpies Senior Women’s Team is excited to announce that the Laverton Bendigo Bank are jumping on board as a sponsor for our inaugural season in 2018

We are very appreciative of the opportunities that the Laverton Bendigo bank are providing us with and we feel very thankful to be able to make these connections with businesses in our local community.

Bendigo Bank was founded more than 150 years ago and offers personal and business financial services throughout many communities across Australia. The Laverton branch has been servicing the it’s community since 2000. Laverton is also one of the three community branches that are in the Hobson’s Bay community, providing the community with opportunities to work together with the bank to improve each community, through the Community Partnership Program.

We, as ladies of the Laverton Magpies Football Team feel very lucky to be a apart of the Bendigo Banks Community Partnership Program. This opportunity will help us excel as we can purchase new equipment and the required uniform that we will need this year as a new team in the WRFL.

We are so very excited to have Bendigo Bank on board to help progress women’s football in the Laverton community and look forward to the journey ahead.

AusKick Come and Try Day

March 13, 2018

What a great success our Auskick ‘Come And Try Day’ was. We had over 40 kids who came down and tried out a bit of football. Lots of skills were learnt and we can’t wait for the 2018 Auskick season.

Thank you to Ian Quinlan and Brad Davis the dedicated coaches of the Auskick team and Harry Sleigh from AFL Victoria who organised the day. Also all those from the Laverton Magpies Football Club community who put their hand up to help.

Auskick starts 21st of April and we recommend all parents to click onto the link below to register their child
